Khattab has been with Baker Hughes since 2008 and was appointed vice president for the region in 2023. In January 2025, Baker Hughes received an order from Técnicas Reunidas for six gas compression trains and six propane compressors to support the third phase of Aramco’s Jafurah gas field expansion in Saudi Arabia. In March 2025, the company was awarded a multi-year contract by Dubai Petroleum Establishment to provide integrated coiled-tubing drilling services for the Margham Gas Storage Project. Before his current role, Khattab held various roles at GE and SLB.
