Nakache and Al Thehaiban assumed their current positions in 2022 and 2021, respectively. In May 2025, Google backed Saudi venture capital firm STV’s $100 million AI fund for AI startups across the MENA. In the same month, Google Cloud and PIF advanced a $10 billion AI hub in Saudi Arabia with HUMAIN, boosting AI innovation for Saudi and U.S. companies in the region. Nakache is also an advisory council member of Dubai International Chamber. Al Thehaiban is a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation’s Sawa’ed mentoring program.
