Fakhroo has been at the helm of Ooredoo Group since 2020 and served as a board member of the group from 2011 to 2024 . In September 2025, Ooredoo partnered with Innovatix Systems to launch advanced cybersecurity services across Qatar, Tunisia, Kuwait, and the Maldives, with full rollout by year-end. In the first nine months of 2025, the group generated revenues of $5 billion and had total assets of $17.5 billion with a customer base of 147.5 million, including IOH customers. It had 26 data centers in operation across five Arab countries. Fakhroo previously served as deputy undersecretary for budget, treasury, and financial affairs at the Ministry of Finance.
