Bin Hendi became CEO of Astra Tech in November 2024. Astra Tech, a G42 company, owns botim, which it acquired in 2023. In August 2025, botim partnered with O Gold to add gold investment features. The platform relaunched with new branding and UI in July 2025 and now serves more than 150 million users across 155 countries. Bin Hendi is also non-executive chairman at Edelman and a board trustee at the United Arab Emirates University.
