Meerza served as Group CEO of NTEC since 2005. A fully owned subsidiary of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), NTEC was established to drive technology and knowledge transfer across ICT, healthcare, energy, renewable energy, water, and environmental sectors in Kuwait. In August 2025, Impulse International Communications, an NTEC company, signed a master services agreement with Kuwait Airways to build the infrastructure needed for implementing cloud and AI technologies for digital transformation. Meerza has served for about 11 years as a Research Associate at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR).
