El Chaar became CEO of Dar Global in 2020 and led its London Stock Exchange listing in 2023. Dar Global operates across 14 cities in nine countries with a $23 billion gross development value, as of December 2025. In August 2025, Dar Global announced mixed-use projects in Jeddah and Riyadh with a combined gross development value of $4.8 billion. In January 2026, the company announced the $1 billion Trump Plaza Jeddah and Trump International Golf Club, following the launch of Trump Tower Jeddah in 2024. It has partnered with over 10 luxury brands including Trump Organization, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, and ELIE SAAB. El Chaar chairs Bahrain Financing Company Group Holdings and Wasalt Real Estate Services.
