Y. K. Almoayyed & Sons traces its origins to a trading enterprise established in 1940 by Yousuf Khalil Almoayyed. Today, the group operates across sectors, including automotive, heavy equipment, consumer electronics, industrial building systems, construction, air conditioning, readymix concrete, real estate in Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. The group represents more than 300 international brands, including Nissan, Infiniti, Renault, Ford, Lincoln, Ashok Leyland, Panasonic, and Sony. In January 2026, its subsidiary Asia Motors signed an agreement with China’s BAW Group to become its authorized retail distributor in Bahrain.
