Al Zaabi assumed his current position in 2015, leading the Abu Dhabi-based leisure and tourism company that creates immersive destinations and experiences. In May 2025, Miral partnered with The Walt Disney Company to develop Disney’s first Middle East theme park resort on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. In January 2026, Miral announced Topgolf Yas Island, spanning 6,500 sqm with 82 bays, and in April 2026, Miral opened the latest Yas Waterworld expansion, adding 11 new slides and attractions including the UAE's tallest waterslide. Al Zaabi is chairman of Miral Destinations and a board member of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).
