Bichu assumed his current role in 2015. He oversees eight multispecialty hospitals, a day care surgery unit, and 89 clinics across the UAE, Bahrain and Oman. In 2025, Aster Al Raffah Hospitals & Clinics in Oman launched the Aster Al Raffah Walk Again Advanced Robotic Rehabilitation Centre, and performed the first robotic surgery in Oman’s private health sector. The group also secured over $72 million in financing from the Emirates Development Bank to launch two new hospitals in Dubai.
