Shehada joined and assumed his position in August 2023. Tabuk Pharma is a subsidiary and major contributor of the Saudi Exchange-listed Astra Industrial Group. It has four manufacturing sites: two in Saudi Arabia, and one in each of Algeria and Sudan. Its geographical reach extended to 17 countries in MENA by 2025. Shehada is on the sub-committee of the National Committee for Pharmaceutical Industries, and a senior advisor for the Arab Union of the Manufacturers of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Appliances.
