Abdel Wareth is a board-certified pathologist, medical biochemist, and physician executive, serving as CEO of Diagnostics at M42’s Global Patient Care Platform since January 2025. She oversees the National Reference Laboratory, the Capital Health Screening Centre, and the Tawam Molecular Imaging Centre. In May 2026, the Diagnostic Cluster introduced the first specialized residency of Clinical Pathology & Anatomic Pathology in the region in partnership with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. It also received JCI accreditation for the Tawam Molecular Imaging Centre in April 2026. Abdel Wareth is also president of the Emirates Clinical Chemistry Society, among other roles.
