Rangoonwala joined Johnson & Johnson in 1996 and assumed his position in 2021. He oversees operations across the Middle East, Africa, Türkiye, Ukraine, and the CIS region, leading a workforce of more than 1,800 employees. In 2025, Johnson & Johnson Foundation increased its total pledge to the Africa Frontline First Catalytic Fund to $20 million. Rangoonwala also supported healthcare innovation with governments and industry stakeholders, expanding across nearly 80 emerging markets. Rangoonwala is an executive committee member of PhRMA MEA and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations.
