Boueiz joined AHF in 1999 and became its CEO in 2016. AHF is a non-profit regional federation affiliated with the League of Arab States. Under her leadership, AHF's member network grew from 650 to over 1,850 hospitals. In 2026, she founded the Arab AI & Cybersecurity Centre for AI safety, ethics, and cybersecurity in hospital systems. In July 2026, AHF launched the Intelligent Hospital Design Initiative (IHD) with the WHO’s Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office. Boueiz was appointed vice president of the World Council for Medical Tourism in January 2026.
