Chongphaisal assumed his role in 2023. In 2025, the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi announced the launch of a regional GSK vaccine distribution hub in the emirate, following an agreement with the company in 2024. Chongphaisal was previously GM for GSK’s Thailand and ADC (Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and Papua New Guinea) markets for 15 years. He was also vice president of the Pharmaceuticals Research and Manufacturing Association in Thailand.
