Sherif reassumed his position in November 2025. AIRCAIRO flies to 91 international and domestic destinations, and intends to add 50 more by 2029. In September 2026, it signed a firm order for 15 Airbus A320neo aircraft. Sherif first joined AIRCAIRO in 2020 as chairman & CEO until 2024 where he led the expansion of AIRCAIRO from seven aircraft to 36, then to 45 aircrafts today. He previously led positions in EgyptAir and participated in founding FlyEgypt in 2014.
