Mejia assumed his position as King Salman International Airport Development Company’s acting CEO in 2021. KSIADC is a PIF company mandated to deliver the King Salman International Airport (KSIA) project in Riyadh. In October 2025, it revealed the airport’s brand identity under the tagline “Your Journey… Your Destination,” reflecting its vision for KSIA as a gateway to Riyadh and the world, and a destination. The airport spans 57 sq. km and is designed to accommodate up to 100 million passengers and two million tons of cargo annually by 2030.
