Tiwari assumed his current position in August 2026. He oversees three Taj Hotels in Dubai with 821 keys, namely Taj Dubai, Taj Exotica, The Palm, and Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers, which served 1.5 million customers in 2025, and oversees three IHCL properties in Sri Lanka with 672 keys, and two Taj properties in Maldives with 126 keys. In 2025, Taj Hotels signed five new hotels in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Ras Al Khaimah. Before his current role, Tiwari was area director for the Middle East and CIS from 2021.
