In 2025, Alba launched EternAl‑Allocated Carbon, a system offering primary aluminium with a carbon reduction allocation methodology, which assigns GHG offsets from recognized emission‑saving initiatives to specific sales orders with transparency. Alba achieved a “B” rating from the Carbon Disclosure Project in both Climate Change and Water Security. Alba also further reduced plant-level emissions by deploying its first electric Aluminium Fluoride (AlF₃) feeding vehicles in Reduction Lines 4, 5, and 6. Al Baqali assumed his current role in 2019.
