GSU is an energy infrastructure company. It has expanded across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, with more than 500 MW of renewable energy projects in operation and delivery. In 2026, it inaugurated the 50 MW Sakaï Solar PV Plant in the Central African Republic, paired with 15 MWh of battery storage and delivered in 10 months. Its initiatives across Yemen, Chad, Comoros, Egypt, and Somaliland include the Green Berbera Vision and the $220 million Atum Solar partnership. Alshimmari has led GSU since its founding in 2024.
