Alameda Healthcare has six healthcare facilities in Egypt, including As-Salam International Hospital, Dar Al Fouad Hospital, Elixir Gastro Care Center, and the German Rehabilitation Center. In 2021, it announced a $318.8 million group expansion plan to increase capacity to more than 1,000 beds by launching As-Salam International Hospital New Cairo and other facilities across Egypt. In early 2022, the group announced it was partnering with CMR Surgical to provide robotic-assisted surgery. Alameda Healthcare was established in 1999 by Professor Salah Khater and is owned and headed by Fahad Salah Khater.
