Founded in the late 1970s by the AlNowais family, AlNowais Investments today operates across engineering and construction, oilfield services, healthcare, communication systems, technology, electromechanical and chemical industries, real estate, hospitality, and large-scale infrastructure projects, among others. In February 2025, AMEA Power, a subsidiary of AlNowais Investments, signed capacity purchase agreements with the Egyptian government to develop 1,500 megawatt-hour battery energy storage systems in Zafarana and Benban in Egypt.
