Bou Mitri assumed his current role in 2025. In January 2026, Honeywell and Borouge completed a proof of concept for the petrochemical industry’s first AI-driven control room. In December 2025, Honeywell and the Egyptian Sustainable Aviation Fuel Company announced the launch of Egypt’s first SAF project, to be built in Alexandria. It also collaborated with the Arab Company for Electrical Industries (ACEI) in December 2025, to open a security camera production line in Egypt. Bou Mitri has led multiple Honeywell business groups since 2014 before his current role.
