Al Shorafa joined Ajman Bank in 2008 and has been in her position since 2024. Ajman Bank reported a 25% YoY increase in net profits in 2025, at around $136.2 million, alongside a 36% increase in customer acquisition. Last year, and for the first time, Ajman Bank sponsored Gitex Global 2025 where it unveiled its flagship Ajman Bank One App and Gen AI Avatar called Hamad AI assistant. Al Shorafa has previously been a member and Secretary General of the Ajman Business Women Council, and Ajman Municipality's board of directors.
