Fouad assumed his role in April 2024. He directed a strategic initiative to reposition Shorooq as a global alternative investment platform beyond venture capital, supporting flagship fund launches, including the $100 million Presight AI Fund and the $200 million Qatalyst Fund. In June 2026, Fouad left Shorooq and launched his own communications firm, Narrative One, with Shorooq being its first client.
