El Bawab has led Beltone Holding's local and regional markets platform as CEO since 2023, growing its assets under management to $835 million in 2025. That year, its Meya Meya Fund became the largest and best-performing index tracker fund in Egypt, with a return exceeding 50%. El Bawab also chairs the Egyptian Investment Management Association.
