Al-Sabah became Deputy Chairman and CEO of KPC in 2022. KPC reported $107 billion in revenues in FY2025. In October 2025, KPC, through its subsidiary Kuwait Oil Company, discovered the Jazah offshore natural gas field, holding reserves of approximately 350 million barrels of oil equivalent. KPC's petrochemical subsidiary acquired a 25% stake in Wanhua Chemical Group's petrochemical assets in April 2025, and its international arm partnered with Eni in February 2026 to develop a industrial complex for biofuel production in Italy. Al-Sabah is also a board member of the Public Authority for Industry.
