Hazel joined Apex Health as its group CEO in 2023. The group grew from a 240-bed hospital in Qatar in 2022 to operating eight hospitals across Qatar, Iraq, Libya, and Algeria, with over 3,000 beds. Facilities include the Korean Medical Center, the Military Medical City Hospital in Qatar and over 400-bed Baghdad International Hospital. Hazel is also on the advisory board of the Arab Hospitals Federation. Before Apex Health, he was COO at Mediclinic Middle East for Abu Dhabi.
