Chongphaisal assumed his current position in 2023 and oversaw the 2025 launch of a regional vaccine distribution hub in Abu Dhabi and a Multi-Omics Research Institute partnership with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Investment Office. El Dababy, appointed in November 2025, oversees over 90 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Türkiye, and Eastern Europe, and by March 2026 had built a strategy to expand access to GSK's specialty medicines and vaccines for 2.5 billion people.
