Al Geziry joined DCT Abu Dhabi as Director General for Tourism in 2022. In 2025, the department expanded its partnerships including a multi-year agreement with Expedia Group and renewed its partnership with WebBeds for a fourth consecutive year. That year, Abu Dhabi welcomed 26.6 million visitors across its culture and tourism sectors, hotel revenue increased by 19.5% year on year to $2.5 billion, and the number of MICE delegates rose by 40% to 2.2 million. DCT Abu Dhabi oversees 11 overseas offices around the world. Al Geziry previously led Ajman's Tourism Development Department and held roles at Meraas Holding and Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.
