Abou Samra became CEO of RAFAL in 2021. The company was established in 2007 as a joint venture between LAFANA, Al Muhaidib Group, and Arabian Tawazon for Commercial Investment. RAFAL has completed over 7,000 units and has 5,000 units under construction, as of February 2026. In November 2025, the Riyadh-based developer partnered with Rove Hotels to develop the brand hotel properties in the Saudi capital. Abou Samra is a founding board member of DAR ALINMA, a Riyadh-based real estate advisory and development management firm.
