Derbas founded Palma Development in 2002, having led the company’s 15 projects worth over $4.6 billion, spanning more than 743,000 square meters of land. As of January 2026, Palma boasted over 1,800 completed units valued at $1.9 billion and more than 1,600 under construction. In 2025, Palma launched and sold out the first phase of Serenia District in Jumeirah Islands, completed La Mer Private Home in December 2025, and is scheduled to handover Serenia Living in the Palm Jumeirah this year.
