Moustafa became the CEO & Managing Director of TMG in 2017. TMG operates across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Oman with projects including SouthMed, Banan City, Jood, Yamal and the upcoming Iraq-based mixed-use development, with a land bank of over 115 million square meters. In 2025, TMG reported $9.1 billion in total assets and $1.3 billion in revenues with $8 billion in contracted sales. In December 2025, the group signed a $200 million construction contract with Concrete Plus to complete 400 buildings within the first phase of SouthMED on the North Coast. In April 2026, TMG announced its plans to build The Spine, a new $27 billion mixed-use city east of Cairo.
