Al Shelash founded Dar Al Arkan in 1994 in Riyadh and was publicly listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) in 2007. In 2025, Dar Al Arkan reported $11.1 billion in total assets and $1 billion in revenues. Its real estate asset portfolio stood at almost $7 billion. The company launched two major projects in Riyadh and Jeddah in early 2025 in collaboration with Trump Organization. Al Shelash is also the Chairman of the SHL Finance Company, Quara Holding, and AlKhair Capital.
