Hammouda joined the company in 2008 and assumed her current role in 2015. Qalaa Holdings is an investment holding company focused on energy and infrastructure investments across Egypt and Africa. The company recorded $2 billion in revenue in the first nine months of 2025. In 2025, she was elected Chair of the Sustainability Committee at the Arab Federation of Capital Markets (AFCM). She also serves on Qalaa Holdings’ sustainability committee and as Cochair of the American Chamber of Commerce’s Corporate Impact & Sustainability Committee and she is a board member of Africa for Africa Women.
