Al-Sabah assumed his role in 2022, leading a team of 233. Under Al-Sabah’s leadership, the company signed long-term crude oil supply agreements, including the extension of a major contract in China, and expanding LNG partnerships through a 15-year agreement with QatarEnergy. The company also strengthened its presence in Asian markets through strategic storage facilities in South Korea and Japan, supported by KOTC’s tanker fleet. Al-Sabah is concurrently CEO of the Kuwait Oil Tanker Company.
