Al Salehi leads Oman National CERT and Cyber Security, the country’s first central cyber security authority. In 2025, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, through Oman National CERT, launched Hadatha Centre for Cybersecurity Industry at Middle East College and Sultan Qaboos University. Al Salehi also heads Oman’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), the Arab Regional Cyber Security Center, and chairs the Organization of The Islamic Cooperation – Computer Emergency Response Teams (OIC-CERT).
