Meads joined Cisco in 1996 and assumed his current role in August 2025. In November 2025, Cisco, AMD, and HUMAIN announced plans to establish a joint venture to support 1 gigawatt of AI infrastructure development in Saudi Arabia by 2030. In May 2025, Cisco signed a MoU with G42, OpenAI, Oracle, NVIDIA and SoftBank Group, to join the Stargate UAE consortium and build an AI data center in Abu Dhabi targeting 1 GW capacity, with 200 MW expected this year. Meads also oversees Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration programs across the U.A.E. and Saudi Arabia.
