Dowidar joined e& in 2015 as group COO, became CEO of the international business in 2016, and group CEO in 2020. He spearheaded the company’s transition from a traditional telco to a technology group and its expansion across 38 markets. As of Q3 2025, e&’s subscribers were up 14% year-on-year to 202.2 million. In the nine-month period ending September 2025, e& generated $14.6 billion in revenue and held $52.8 billion in assets. Dowidar sits on the boards of Vodafone Group, Mobily, Maroc Telecom, and e& Egypt.
