QDB is a fully-owned government bank. It recently launched an added service under Qatar Export Development Agency to provide export financing and business development and promotion support to Qatar-based SME exporters. QDB provides business support through a set of initiatives and services associated with real estate development and housing loans to citizens, as well as direct and indirect financing of mandated sectors playing a key role in the diversification of the national economy in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
