Jawad Ahmed Bukhamseen founded the Bukhamseen Commercial Corporation in 1957. The group now has interests in general trading, real estate, hospitality, travel & tourism, industrial production, and media & communication. Its Kuwait hotels include the Crowne Plaza Al Thuraya City, Holiday Inn Salmiya, and InterContinental Farwaniya; it’s building a new Mandarin Oriental–branded hotel in Kuwait City.
