The Crescent Group currently operates a portfolio of more than 25 companies through its two main subsidiaries, Crescent Petroleum and Crescent Enterprises. In February 2024, Crescent Petroleum activated new contracts with the Iraqi government, with initial investment plans of $1 billion. The company has 10 oil and gas fields across Iraq and exceeded $5 billion in investments in Iraq by June, across the oil & gas, ports, and power sectors. In November 2024, Crescent Enterprises’ venture capital arm, CE-Ventures, co-led a $10 million financing round for a Houston-based biotech firm, CrossBridge Bio.
