The Olayan Group is a subsidiary of OFC, founded in 1947 as the General Contracting Company. In April 2024, OFC and Lunate reached an agreement with the Investment Corporation of Dubai and Brookfield Corporation to acquire a 49% stake in ICD Brookfield Place, a commercial and retail property in Dubai. In July 2024, OFC joined the $20 million Series A funding round for Saudi Arabia-based Intelmatix, a deeptech AI company. In January 2025, the Olayan Saudi Holding Company partnered with Weir Group to form a new joint venture to provide mining technology solutions in Saudi Arabia.
