Abdulla Yousif Fakhro Group

Haji Yousif bin Abdulraman Fakhro, the group’s founder, inherited a dates and building materials trading business from his father. Today it has operations in the automotive, industrial, electron­ics, telecommunica­tions, insurance, contracting, shipping, and logistics sectors. With operations in Bahrain, Iraq, the U.A.E., Qatar, and India, the group has strategic alliances with global partners such as Budget Rent- A-Car, BYD Auto, Mobil, Sony Ericsson, Cisco and McDonald’s. Chairman Esam Abdulla Fakhro also chairs Bahrain Cinema Company and serves as the deputy chairman of the National Bank of Bahrain.
