Sidra Medicine was established by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. Tinubu-Karch assumed her current role in December 2022. Sidra participated in the Precision Medicine World Conference in January 2023. Tinubu-Karch was previously a non-executive board member at Sidra Medicine and had an advisory role on the management committee. She is also the founder and CEO of 6M Geriatrics and Hospital Medicine. Sidra Medicine works closely with its academic partner Weill-Cornell Medicine in Qatar, and other health and research institutions like the Hamad Medical Corporation and Qatar Biobank to raise the standard of healthcare in the country and provide opportunities for research and learning.
