Established in 2019 as a Public-Private Partnership between the Department of Health Abu Dhabi and Injazat, Malaffi —a Health Information Exchange platform— stores medical records for seven million patients from 2,026 facilities. In October 2021, the company announced connecting 100% of Abu Dhabi-based Hospitals. Al Braiki who has been CEO of the company since its establishment is also a member of International Strategic Advisory Council at AHIMA. He was previously director of Strategic Projects at Injazat.
