Alobaid joined Care Medical in 2018, and assumed his role as CEO in 2019. Care Medical has expanded from two to six hospitals in Riyadh, Makkah and Jeddah, with 1,189 beds as of June 2026. It also has Care Academy and Saudi’s first private behavioral rehabilitation hospital. In H1 2026, it made $225 million in revenues and had $808.5 million in assets. Alobaid is also a consulting specialist in gynaecologic oncology, a member of the Riyadh Medical Tourism Board, and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s research committee.
