Nasser assumed his current position in 2019 having first joined Amgen in 2018 as general manager for the GCC. Nasser also serves as chairman of the Innovation and R&D pharmaceutical industry association for the Middle East and Africa (PHARMEA). Prior to Amgen, he held senior leadership roles at Abbott, Hospira, Eli Lilly and Company in Europe and the Middle East.
