El Sewedy founded the Ahl Masr Foundation in 2013 and later established Ahl Masr Burn Hospital, which was officially inaugurated in March 2024. The organization is the first non-profit in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa dedicated to burn treatment, prevention, and research, providing free medical treatment to burn victims from all social backgrounds. The hospital's first phase includes 70 beds, with total capacity set to reach 200 beds upon completion of a second phase.
