APEX Pharma – Egypt was founded by Elba in 1997. Driven by a more than $59.3 million investment until 2028, the company is expanding its plant in Egypt to increase production capacity. In 2025, it inaugurated an $80 million factory in King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia, its first outside of Egypt. That year, APEX renewed its local EDA certification under WHO’s Maturity Level 3 standards and gained export approval in Uganda. Elba is a member of the AmCham Egypt.
