Willemsen joined PepsiCo in 1995 and assumed his current role in 2019. In 2021, the company reported $6.1 billion in revenues in Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Willemsen is also a co-vice chairman of the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, an Advisory Board Member of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce International Division, and the chairman of the U.S.- Africa Business Center U.S. Chamber. He is also PepsiCo’s representative for the World Economic Forum’s Regional Action Group for Africa.
